Knowledge & Experience:

During his adolescent years, Jan Creasey spent summer days and weekends working for his father’s small construction company, “Wayne’s Carpentry Service," in Farmersville, Illinois.

As a young apprentice, Jan realized he had natural talent. He enjoyed the art of carpentry and felt proud of the projects he completed. His confidence combined with ace installation skills, an innate ability to masterfully construct things large and small, and a knack for beating production deadlines; Jan grasped at his gifts and decided to commit his life’s work to perfect his skills as a builder. 

Living and working with his father gave Jan a full, live picture of what it takes to run an ethical, reliable, organized, and professional business. He enjoyed doing commercial projects but felt called to shift his gifts to be paired and shared with something more meaningful.

Nearly 30 years ago, Jan envisioned a more comprehensive company that would provide Springfield, Illinois with residential and light commercial renovation and construction services for new home construction, remodeling projects, whole house renovations, additions, expansions, home improvement updates, and his all-time favorite; kitchen and master bath remodeling projects.

With a clear vision to consistently deliver high quality, professional, worry free, turn-key home building and renovation solutions; in 1988, Jan started Creasey Construction of Illinois, Inc.

Today, as President and chief of daily operations, Jan continues to actively participate in the transformation of people's lives through the masterful change of their home and living space.

As homeowners seek more comfortable homes with flexible floor plans, open areas, energy-efficient solutions, and plenty of storage; Jan leads his team as they work closely with clients to fully understand, design, and deliver the spaces the customer wants, needs, and expects from Creasey Construction.

Together, Jan and his crew of skilled craftsman are proud to provide thoughtful and creative construction solutions to Springfield area residents. They are especially proud of their ability to understand the unique vision of each of their clients; resulting in the successful delivery of customized spaces constructed precisely according to the homeowner’s everyday life and style, every time.
